Judicial Review Permission Hearing of 30th November 2007

 HSMP Forum Limited v/s Secretary of State for the Home Department.

In the recent permission hearing which took place on 30th November 2007 the High Court Judge Justice Sullivan said that there was evidence of breach of legitimate expectation and human rights legislation and the Home Office seem to have been unfair in making the retrospective changes.

The Judge took into consideration the Commission for Racial Equality's earlier correspondence to BIA on the discriminatory changes and as well the Joint Committee on Human Rights report on HSMP Changes. We have got the permission for the Judicial Review and the full hearing is expected in 2 months time.

We are confident that the upcoming full hearing for the Judicial Review expected before 10th March 2008 would make sure that justice would be done. Please make your contribution at the earliest !!!!
